50th anniversary of the sinking of the Bianca C. It's 50 years ago now that the Bianca C found her final resting place at the bottom of the sea. To comomerate this event several local TV- and Radio stations broadcasted interviews with eye witnesses as well as the history of the ship. On Saturday 22.10.11 a replica of The Christ Of The Deep, which was originally donated by the Costa Line to the people of Grenada for their help and hospitality has been blessed by father Sean and will be installed in the Grenada Underwater Sculpture Park. A plaque has been attached at the swimming pool of the Bianca C to memorize this tragic event.
