No Bubbles No Troubles
4-5 day course (min. age: 18 years)
Longer no-decompression limits, gas consumption independent of depth, warm and moist gas at all times, incredible marine life encounters because of the lack of bubbles and noise and and and. Due to the electronically controlled fixed oxygen partial pressure, you’re diving different nitrox mixes depending to your depth. E.g., if your oxygen partial pressure is set to 1.3 bar, you’re breathing a nitrox 65 on 10m, a nitrox 43 on 20m, a nitrox 32 on 30m, a nitrox 26 on 40m and a nitrox 21 on 50m. You are always breathing the ideal mix on any depth. Obviously this gives you much longer no-decompression limits than simply diving on nitrox and you increase your maximum operating depth at the same time. As the gas you’re breathing is not expelled after exhaling like on open circuit, you’ll be finding out that you’re having the same gas consumption on 10m as on 50m, which guarantees you a much longer bottom time even on deeper dives. All this gives you a lot of advantages - for example - on deep wreck dives where you typically dive a U-profile and not follow a reef for the ascent.
Further on , breathing the filtered gas, you’ll always be supplied with moist and warm mixes, you’re not having any longer this dry throat and your heat loss is minimized. This reduces the risk of dehydration and decompression sickness. Last but not least you’ll experience amazing marine life encounters. As you’re not making any more bubbles, you’ll find yourself in the middle of schools of fish without scaring them away. Excellent for underwater photographers! Experience the art of silent diving and you never want to miss it again! 120 minutes confined water, 6 dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters, knowledge development. Do your rebreather training in Grenada and get certified with ScubaTech - your TDI Dive Center Grenada.
