We at ScubaTech had the great pleasure to play an important role in organizing and coordinating Grenada being the location for the show down in a Production of a Norwegian TV Series. Magga Fjelltun, Location Manager of the Film Team and repeat guest at ScubaTech, had chosen Grenada as location and we were very happy to assist her in establishing all necessary connections to local authorities to make this come true.
The shots were taken at Coconut Beach Restaurant at Grand Anse. Pearl and Carsten were proud to participate during this shooting as extras. The Series "Mammon", directed by famous Cecilie Mosli will be shown in the fall of 2013 in Norway on NRK and possibly a little later in the UK.
After having finished the shooting, Roar Fjortoft (First Assistant Director), Jon Oigarden (Main Actor) and Tom Erik Lie (Sound Technician) joined us for a dive the next day and were excited about Grenada's underwater world. The same evening nearly the entire film crew joined us for a Sunset Champagner Cruise and had a great time relaxing and enjoying themselves after all the hard work of the shooting.

Esther - From Zero To Hero

A couple of weeks ago water wasn't really Esther's element. Taking the Open Water Diver course here in Grenada was a real challenge. However, after the first dive in open water at Flamingo Bay you couldn't get the smile out of her face anymore. Once finished with the Open Water Diver course, Esther immidiately took her Nitrox certification and Advanced Course. The picture was taken on her last dive of the Advanced course, uw photography, at the wreck of the Veronica L. A few days later Esther did her first night dive together with her husband Mario who has been a certified diver for a long time and is now happy to have a dive buddy. Congratulations Esther!

Fish Friday Trips to Gouyave available again!

After a year of construction the new jetty in Gouyave is now done and open to public. Hence we're happy to let you know that our famous boat trips to Fish Friday are once again part of the ScubaTech Grenada program. Yesterday we went up to Gouyave for the first time after all these months. Of course we had a few coolers of Rum Punch as well as beers and softdrinks on board for the one hour boat ride.
