One of a number of beautiful reef dives within easy reach of our Grenada dive resort. This sloping reef usually enjoys a gentle current, so no or little effort is required. Abundant black corals and luminescent sponges inhabited by shoals of colorful reef fish, moray eels and spiny caribbean lobster.

The reef has been given its name because of the purple colored creole wrasse which swim in formation, if they swim downwards it looks like purple rain! The depth ranges from 15m – 27m, but with a deep first and then progressively shallower dive profile the dive lasts as long as your air/gas.
